"Manufacturer's statement

We hereby confirm that MET 77 bags are suitable for "hot bottling" max. 85 ̊C.

The temperature of the liquids poured into the bags can be up to. 85 ̊C if certain conditions are met:

  • After filling the bags, store them horizontally, especially immediately after filling at 72–85 ̊C or in conditions where cooling the bags to 40 ̊C will take more than 12 hours (tall bins, barrels).
  • Avoid storing bags in layers immediately after bottling at temperatures above 85 ̊C.
  • Based on experience, good manufacturing practice should include storing the bags in a horizontal position with the cap up so that the collar area is not directly immersed in the product until the temperature reaches

72 ̊C.

  • Subsequent stages of the packaging process should be carried out from the moment a

the filled bag reaches a temperature below 40 ̊C and only then can it be placed in a carton

box or other collective packaging (box-pallet, barrel, other containers).

  • Faucet and nozzle suitable for bottling max 85 ̊C.
  • Cooling the bags should take about 5-10 minutes.”
