The filters from the COLOMBO range are designed to filter food liquids such as: wine, water, must, tuica, etc.

They consist of an irreversible BE-M / NOVAX electric pump, a frame on which the food plastic support plates are placed, between which the filter plates will be placed. Filter plates are consumable for this equipment.

VINIFICATION FILTER CHARACTERISTICS

Wine filters have the role of eliminating the rest of mycoorganisms, yeasts and other sediments from the wine, in order to give it a clear appearance, regardless of the color of the wine: red, white or rosé. Each vinification filter has a maximum number of filter plates that can be used simultaneously.

Filter plates are porous filter structures made of cellulose fibers mixed with Kieselgur, perlite and synthetic polyamide-based resins. Filter plates are generally made of various materials and shapes. The main materials used are: cellulosic fibers (cotton fabrics, paper pulp, diatomaceous earth (synonyms: infuser soil, fossil silica, Kieselgur), and more recently pearlite.
