General features bentonita wine
Begran is a bentonite for granular winemaking activated with sodium, obtained by a special process to allow the reaction. It is very easy to dissolve and manipulated, very high dispersion power, colloidal properties and, therefore, clarification efficiency (high deproteinization).
Begran produces the decrease of polyphenol oxidase (tyrosinase, etc ...) and reducing protein and copper risks. Due to its microporous structure it has a capacity to swell in very fast water (30 - 50%), with a much smaller pieces of pieces compared to the dusty version.
Conditions of use
It disperses in the cold or at room temperature in a ratio of 1:10, shaking strongly to a homogeneous suspension. Leave to "swollen" for several hours (minimum 6 to 12 hours). Mix again and add the volume to be treated.
Dosage bentonita vinification
40 - 80 g/hl for musts and wines.
It is recommended to perform preliminary laboratory tests, check (bentotest) and color loss (DO420 and DO520). Also, perform an organoleptic test.
COMPOSITION
- Montmorilonite (bentonite) clay: 80-90%;
- Silica derived compounds: 0 - 20%.
PACKING
1 and 25 kg packaging.
