GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS SULPHITE
Potassium metabisulphite is a sulfite in the form of a white crystalline powder with a characteristic, sometimes pungent, sulfur dioxide odor. It can also be used in aqueous solution (20 g / liter of water) to sterilize containers and bottles.
Sterilization of wine is necessary to destroy bacteria and yeast. Each type of wine requires its own temperature and aging period.
