Description
Wine filters have the role of eliminating the rest of mycoorganisms, yeasts and other sediments from the wine, in order to give it a clear appearance, regardless of the color of the wine: red, white or rosé. Each wine filtration system has a maximum number of filter plates that can be used at the same time, displayed in the product name, but if you want to filter a smaller amount of wine, you can use even fewer filter plates than the maximum displayed on the filter. .
PROCESS
Wine filtration is a general clarification technique that consists in passing a cloudy liquid through a filtration system provided with a very fine filter layer. Like any mechanical process, filtration poses a problem of quality and quantity. The quality refers to the clarity obtained in the conditions in which the gustatory properties of the wine must be observed, and the quantity of the filtered wine is determined by the filtration surface, respectively the filtration efficiency.
